Veterinary Medical Sales, West Coast Rep

Animal Necessity is looking for a DVM salesperson to engage with veterinarian practices across the western half of the United States. Our company manufacturers supplements for the animal industry, especially for dogs and cats. A DVM salesperson would be required to help us continue our growth with current and new veterinarian clinics (including specialty clinics).

The job responsibilities would be:

• Work with our team to maintain healthy relationships with current veterinarian clinics
• Build relationships with new clinics and help educate and sell our products through those clinics
• Grow sales specifically in our line of Hemp products
• Travel across the United States to various animal-related conferences throughout the year.
• Engage with our team weekly on conference calls and occasional in-person meetings
• Help us expand our market to overseas veterinarians and clinics

Some key requirements are:

• Veterinary Sales Background (minimum two years outbound and inbound sales experience is preferred)
• Past experience in the animal industry (veterinarian, vet-tech, or similar, or working with other animal related companies or in distribution)
• Must have a background that includes working with and selling Hemp products
• California applicants get highest priority
• Ability to travel throughout the United States with minimal issues
• Ability to set up, run, and tear down conference booths for each show
• Have passion, integrity, and confidence to lead a sales role and engage with many clients throughout each year
• Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Word and Excel

We are offering a very competitive salary + bonuses and commission based on performance. Our staff all works remotely, so no daily travel to an office is required.
